On April 20th 2017, Peter and I became first time grandparents to Carter James and then on January 6th, 2019 we welcomed a brother for Carter, our second grandson Louis Peter.
We want to create memories with our two grand boys and even more so to allow them to know that they are so very loved by Nannie and Oppie.
So begins this journal of our time together.

New toys on Christmas Day. Louis with his cute bow tie. We are at Michelle and Wayne’s place for our 2019 Christmas. We all got a lovely Christmas present as the morning started with some needed rain.
Our Christmas tree 2019 it was stunning. Megan and the boys paid a visit and helped decorate. The tree had every decoration on it. It was truly amazing and both the boys were wonderful with looking after the tree.

New Year’s Eve 2019 -2020
Brett as a Christmas present bought Megan and Stephen a night out with all you can eat and drink at Stone and Brew. We had the boys over night. They were fantastic, that said Nannie and Oppie wore them out and they were ready for bed by 7pm. Well done Nannie and Oppie.
Oppie and Carter making morning pancakes. Please note the time, both boys had already been up since 4 am.
Time to create Carter’s first model. They had both bought it at the shop together. Of course glue was needed.

| Glue goes here, working together. |
Louis just chillin, with his left leg relaxing. A favourite position. Louis loves his food and gives most items a go. If not keen it gets dropped to the floor. I love that Megan when this happens at her place she just gets “Hoover” and “Dyson” aka Bella and Grace. Such good dogs who are equally as keen to lend a helping tongue. No such luck at Nannie and Oppie place.

When the boys stay over or visit outside is always appealing. There are the birds to feed, bells and chimes in the trees to play, check the bees, draw, make car roads with wood off cuts, see if the Easter bunny or Santa clause is home, ride the trike, water the plants with the hose, splash in the green pool, pour water into and out of many containers, visit the shed, take out the hammer, screw driver do some maintenance around the place.
Nannie and Oppie have been collecting cardboard tubes in order to create our own marble run. A big success and lots of fun. The marbles turn up in the strangest of places.
A favourite now is the duplo as Carter can now create his own by pushing the pieces together.
Other activities include a walk to the shops with bubbie of course.
